Last month, The Super Mario Bros. Movie made a grand debut before masses of longing viewers, and it was a megastar, much to the fulfillment of diehard fans, who grew up or are growing up with the title.
The noteworthy song,”Peaches”, which gives romantic comedy, is thought to be an essential part to the movie, helping it to surpass Disney’s Frozen!
Surprisingly, it was almost left out entirely, which would have altered everything about the movie, but thankfully, it was included. Peaches went viral like wildfire, being used on TikTok, and even having alternate versions be made out of it.
There’s no doubt that this is the most popular song in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and also that there will be more Mario movies to follow in the coming years.
There’s clouds of possibility floating in the air for all the video games that might be adapted into movies, and also for the Super Mario Bros. Movie to be made into a game.
I can imagine a lineup of movies called: The Super Mario 64 Movie, The Super Mario Galaxy Movies 1 & 2, The Super Mario Odyssey Movie, The Super Mario Sunshine Movie, The Super Smash Bros. Movie which could be broken up into four parts (64, Melee, Brawl, and Ultimate), The Paper Mario Movie, The Super Princess Peach Movie, The Super Mario World Movie, and The Mario Kart Movie.
There’s many Easter eggs that can be found in trailers and clips, such as a caged Lumalee from Super Mario Galaxy, which can ignite hope for the likelihood of there ever being a movie adaptation of the game.
On the flip side, maybe no preexisting games will be adapted into movies, and brand new stories will be created following this revamped series after the 2023 Mario movie, and those might lead to new games. There are also many more characters from Mario games that be added into later stories.
All the sequels have potential to be consistently alongside the first most successful video game movie in history. I don’t think they will be watered down into mere shells of the first movie. These will be handled with precision by the team who you can tell are absolutely ardent about Mario.
Most likely, the next movie will be called The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2. No matter how things go, we can be sure that they’re taking a turn for the best from here, and onwards.
